BOOK: The Next Adventure – Transitioning to secondary school when you have
Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia)

Dr Dorothy Armstrong has written a book, entitled The Next Adventure, which was commissioned and published by Dyspraxia Ireland.
The book acts as an extensive guide to students with DCD/Dyspraxia making the transition from primary to secondary school. It includes testimonies of the lived experience of students who have made the transition themselves, as well as guides for the everyday challenges of secondary school life.
The book is available to purchase from the Dyspraxia Ireland website, which can be accessed here.
The book was launched by Regina Doherty (Fine Gael TD and then Government Chief Whip).
